Entries For Women In Indian Army
In this article we will discuss about the list of entries for Women in the Indian Army. Indian Army provides various opportunities for technical and non-technical graduates to don the uniform.
Let us have a look at various entries:
1. SSCW (Non-Technical):
Age: 19 to 25 years
Marital status: Only unmarried candidates
Educational qualification: Graduation from recognized University.
Notification: It is usually notified in the month of June to July and November to December. Visit the official website www.upsc.gov.nic.in to apply
Training: 49 weeks at OTA Chennai
2. SSCW (NCC):
Age: 19 to 25 years
Marital status: Only unmarried candidates
Educational qualification: Graduate with 50% Aggregate marks in any discipline. Additionally two years service in NCC Senior Division Wing with minimum ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam.
Notification: It is usually notified in the month of June to July and December to January
Training: 49 weeks at OTA Chennai
3. SSCW (JAG):
Age: 21 to 27 years
Marital status: only unmarried candidates
Educational qualification: Graduate with LLB with 55% marks. Eligible for Registration with Bar Council of India / State.
Notification: It is usually notified in the month of June to July and December to January. Visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to apply.
Training: 49 weeks at OTA Chennai
4. SSC (Technical) Women:
Age: 20 to 27 years
Marital status: Only unmarried candidates
Educational qualification: Engineering Degree in the notified stream.
Notification: It is usually notified in the month of June to July and December to January. Visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to apply.
