OTA Chennai Pledge
Every cadet who trains at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai carries more than just ambition. They carry responsibility, discipline, and a commitment to serve the nation. The “Warriors Pledge” associated with OTA is not just a set of words. It represents the values, spirit, and moral foundation expected from every future officer of the Indian Army.
In 2015 the OTA Warriors Pledge was introduced by the Comdt Lt Gen Bobby Mathews, AVSM**, VSM. This Pledge is invoked everyday by Officer Cadets before commencement of daily training.
At military academies, cadets take solemn oaths and pledges that bind them to the Constitution of India, the Army’s core values, and their duty as officers.

It is about being ready to honour the pledge that follows.
