OTA Gaya Passing Out Parade
The Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya is set to hold its 27th Passing Out Parade (POP) on September 6, 2025, marking a proud moment in the journey of future officers of the Indian Army. This year, 207 cadets, including 184 men and 23 women will be commissioned, highlighting a notable rise in female representation compared to previous batches.
In preparation for the parade, OTA hosted the Commandant’s Awards ceremony at Vijay Auditorium, recognizing cadets excelling in academics, military subjects, physical fitness, sports, and weapon handling. Distinguished awardees include Rishabh Gupta, Adya Pandey, Ashwin Kirupai, and Sakshi Singh, among others.

The celebrations will continue with the Gaurav Padak felicitation ceremony, featuring captivating performances by the Army Symphony Band, martial arts demonstrations, and equestrian shows. Cadets’ families, dignitaries, students, and National Cadet Corps (NCC) contingents are expected to attend, reflecting the event’s community and national significance.
The 27th Passing Out Parade at OTA Gaya underscores the academy’s mission to train well-rounded officers ready to serve the nation. The increased participation of women cadets also signifies progressive steps toward greater gender inclusivity in the Indian Army.
