In 2022, Lieutenant Narasimhamurthy distinguished herself by being the only woman selected through the rigorous examination process conducted by the Directorate General of Territorial Army. This achievement speaks volumes about her dedication and resilience.
Following her selection, she was posted in May 2024 to an Army unit stationed near the Indo-Pak Line of Control (LOC). Here, she underwent training and was commissioned as a Lieutenant, ready to take on the responsibilities of her rank and position.
