Women Officers At Republic Day Parade

As the nation gears up to celebrate the 75th Republic Day, the spotlight shines on a group of exceptional women officers who are set to make history as they participate in the grand parade. These officers, with their dedication, skills, and commitment, exemplify the spirit of service and excellence.
Let’s get to know these trailblazers who will proudly march in unison on the Kartavya Path during Republic Day Parade 2024.
Major Srishti Khullar
She will lead the all-women Armed Forces Medical Services marching contingent at the Republic Day parade. “From holding the surgical knife to carrying a sword at the parade, the new role is quite challenging & rewarding.”
Lieutenants Deepti Rana & Priyanka Sevda
They will lead the Swathi weapon locating radar & Pinaka rocket system display at the Republic Day parade. They are among the 10 women officers commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery for the 1st time last year.
Officers Leading Women Agniveers Contingent
Capt Sandhya Mahla (left) will lead the all-women tri-service contingent at the Republic Day parade along with Sub Lt Aashu Yadav, Flt Lt Shrishti Verma & Capt Sharanya Rao. The contingent will consist of women Agniveers from the three services.

Sukhoi-30 pilots Flying Officer Asma Shaikh & Flight Lieutenant Ananya Sharma will be a part of the IAF tableau at the Republic Day parade.
Lt Cdr Juhee Bhope
She is the tableau commander of the Indian Navy at India’s 75th Republic Day Parade. The central theme of the tableau that is going to presented during the Republic Day parade is based on the theme of Atmanirbharta.
