Military Nursing Service Notification
Military Nursing Service Notification 2023. Applications are invited from female candidates who have passed MSc (Nursing) / PB BSc (Nursing) / BSc (Nursing) for grant of short service commission in the military nursing service. The Examination for Military Nursing Service 2023-24 is a National Level Entrance Test for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in MNS. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted the responsibility of conducting the examination
Education Qualification :
Should have passed MSc (Nursing) / PB BSc (Nursing) / BSc (Nursing) from INS recognised university and be a registered nurse and registered midwife from a state nursing council.
Age Criteria :
Candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age on the date prescribed for the receipt of application. Born between 25 Dec 1988 and 26 Dec 2002 (both days inclusive).
Selection Procedure :
Only eligible candidates will undergo computer based examination to be conducted by national testing agency on 14th of January 2024 at the selected centers all over India. The CBE will consist of multiple-choice questions based on nursing, English language and general intelligence. There is no negative marking. The qualifying marks of CBE is 50%. The candidates will be able to view their own scorecard at NTA website. The list of qualified candidates who are shortlisted for an interview in the order of merit will be published on the join Indian Army website and NTA website, with the instructions for interview.
Required number of qualified candidates, in the order of merit will be called for interview at Delhi, subject to the available vacancies. Thereafter, the candidates will be subjected to medical examination. The process of interview and medical examination may take 3 to 5 days. Arrangements for accommodation will be the individual’s responsibility.
Employability :
Candidates selected for a grant of SSC in the MNS will be liable to serve for five years extendable to a total tenure of 14 years, anywhere in India in the same way as military nursing service regular officers of the Armed Forces. No request will be entertained on choice of posting through any means in the first five years of service.
How to Apply :
(1) Candidates can apply through the “Online Mode only” through the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/SSCMNS. The application form in any other mode will not be accepted.
(2) Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
(3) Candidates must strictly follow the instruction given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
(4) Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own as all information/communication will be sent by NTA through email on the registered email address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
(5) Candidate will have to pay an amount of Rs 900 as application processing fee to NTA.
