NDA I & NDA II 2020 Expected Cutoff and Exam Analysis
NDA I & II 2020 expected cut off and exam analysis. The NDA I & II 2020 Exam was conducted by UPSC on 6th September 2020 for selecting candidates for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy. For the first time both NDA I & II were conducted same time because of the prevailing covid-19 pandemics. Candidates qualifying the written test will be shortlisted for SSB Interview. Final selection of candidates will be done based on the candidate’s performance in written exam and SSB Interview. The Joining letter will be issued to the candidates according to available vacancies in the merit. The vacancies for NDA I 2020 are 413 and vacancies for NDA II 2020 are 418.
The exam consists of 2 papers: Paper I: Mathematics from 10:00 to 12:30 and Paper-II: General Ability Test from 14:00 to 16:30. The Mathematics paper consists of 120 Questions that are of 2.5 marks each, while the General Ability Test consists of 150 Questions that are of 4 marks each.
As per the feedback received by the candidates, Maths papers was slightly difficult and lengthy to solve from the last year while it was easy for GAT.
Question in Maths section were asked from topics such as Sets, Algebra, Trigonometry, Vectors, Coordinate geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus etc. The more focus was on Trigonometry and statistics this time. The level of paper was moderate to difficult.
The NDA II 2020 General Ability Test was conducted from 14:00 to 16:30. This paper has a total of 150 Questions from 600 marks. Good amount of questions appeared from Physics, Chemistry and Biology which were direct question. In English section, this time there was no passage instead of that questions were related to the Jumbled letters. And nearly 2-3 questions were from military exercises. The level of GAT section was easy to moderate.

The cut off depends on various factors such as number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of vacancies. According to the previous years cutoff trends, the expected cutoff is given below:

As per the trends, the cut off for NDA I & II 2020 is expected to be 320-340 (25% in each subject)
