CDS 1 2019 Cut off and paper analysis
Every candidate is eager to know the expected cds 1 2019 cut off. Lacs of students appear for Combined defence service exams. CDS 1 2019 was conducted on 3rd February 2019, in a set of three papers. The expected cut off for cds 1 2019 is shared below

PAPER 1 ENGLISH, English paper is always scoring and easy.
This time it was observed that few students weren’t able to attempt the paper fully and ran out of time. Though few new varieties of questions were included this time, still paper 1 was overall an easy & manageable paper. Furthermore student is expected to get at least 60+ Marks in the English paper in order to avoid total cut off issues later on.
PAPER 2, GENERAL KNOWLEDGE is considered as the toughest paper in CDS examinations.
This time too, it was substantially tough. General Knowledge is not defined in the syllabus, thus it’s contents are dynamic and paper 2 included questions from every aspect. Number of science questions were relatively more. Many students were seen baffled answering GK. UPSC however is lenient and keeps the individual cut off always as low as 20 marks
PAPER 3, ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS was surely lengthy.
Some sections were easy while some were difficult and lengthy. In any circumstances minimum 20 % (i.e 20 marks) are expected from mathematics.
Verdict
CDS 1 2019 was a bit difficult than CDS 2 2018.
