OTA Gaya Passing Out Parade
In an impressive Passing Out Parade at OTA Gaya, 207 Officer Cadets were commissioned as Officers in the Indian Army. Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, reviewed the impressive Passing Out Parade of SSC (Tech) Men-63 & SSC (Tech) Women-34 Courses at Officers Training Academy, Gaya. The parade showcased immaculate drill, seamless coordination and exceptional turnout, reflecting the highest standards of training and discipline

General Sengupta presented medals to officer cadets who demonstrated exemplary performance during their training. Battalion Under Officer (BUO) Kulthe Dhruv won the coveted Sword of Honour for being adjudged as the Best Allrounder. He is commissioned into the Grenadier Regiment.
The Gold medal went to Academy Cadet Adjutant (ACA) Monu Kumar for standing first in Overall Order of Merit and has been commissioned into Jat regiment. The Silver Medal for standing second in Overall Order of Merit was given to the Academy Under Officer (AUO) Piyush Dimri, commissioned into Kumaon Regiment.
The Bronze Medal was given to Battalion Under Officer (BUO) Mukta Singh for standing third in Overall Order of Merit. She is commissioned into Engineers Regiment (Bombay Sappers).

The Army Commander also participated in the much-celebrated Pipping Ceremony after the Passing Out Parade, pipping some Officer Cadets into Commissioned Officers. He congratulated the newly commissioned officers & their proud parents on the momentous occasion and exhorted the Officers to uphold the highest traditions and ethos of the Indian Army.

The Army Commander also paid homage to the bravehearts in a solemn wreath laying ceremony at OTA, Gaya War Memorial. Officer Cadets also joined in paying homage during the ceremony to mark the occasion.

The newly commissioned officers, donning their ranks and regimental accoutrements, swore allegiance to the country and the Constitution of India as they stepped out of the portals of the Officers Training Academy to safeguard the honour of the country.
