The fire power demonstration of Indian Air force, Vayushakti 2019 is going to held in pokhran near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on 16th February. So why does the Indian Air force conducts the exercises like Vayushakti? You must have watched the Republic Day parade in which the defence forces showcase their power to the citizens. In a similar manner, the air forces of the world also display their abilities and the increasing potential to the nation with a message that they is able to safeguard their interests.
The Indian Air force posted a video regarding that in a facebook post stating ''These exercises are also vital for operators, planners, and the leadership. And most importantly, it provides an opportunity for forces to operate in near realistic scenarios.'' This are the major attraction of the exercise will be to witness the Sukhoi Su-30MKI in action and
Sukhoi Su-30MKI
The Su-30 MKI is a modern multi-role, air superiority fighter aircraft. HAL manufactures the Su-30 fighter jets under license from Russian aircraft major Sukhoi Aviation Corporation.
Mi 35 helicopter
The Russia-made assault anti-armour helicopter will also be a part of the Vayushakti. It can be used in anti-tank operations, escort to Special Heliborne Operations & destruction of enemy Air Defence missions.
IAF is going to showcase 100 different types of aircrafts that will display their full potential. It includes aircrafts like Sukhoi 30s, Mirage 2000, Jaguars, MIG 21 bison (upgraded), Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), attacking helicopters, UAVs and high-tech AWACS also.
