Journey of two childhood friends who will pass out at INA
Talking about the passion to join Indian Navy, we have an interesting story of two childhood friends who are currently undergoing training at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
Sub Lt. Aman Saxena and Cadet Suraj Patel met each other in class 4 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector 30, Gandhinagar Gujarat and surprisingly had one goal to serve the nation. From classmates to bench mates and to best friends. Both of them were glued to each other in school, tuition classes and playground.
But after passing 12th standard they had to part ways and joined different Engineering Colleges in different cities.
From the very beginning both wanted to become Indian Navy officer and frankly to do this both had a tough time. Initially they both were not able to get through NDA. However, destiny had other plans for them.
But call it a luck, both of them got united when Sub Lt. Aman Saxena got recommended from Naval Selection Board, Visakhapatnam under University Entry Scheme (UES) in the year 2018. It was a mere coincidence that both of them got recommended from same selection center.
Finally both will be passing out together next year from Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala making our families and everyone around them very proud. Both of them are truly bff goals and inspiring youngsters.
