22nd JAG ENTRY SCHEME NOTIFICATION
Indian Army has invited application for the 22nd Judge Advocate General (JAG) course -2019.
Below is the eligibility criteria for JAG
Age
21 – 27 years as on 01 Jan 2019 (Born not earlier than 02 Jan 1992 and not later than 01 Jan 1998. Both dates inclusive)
Gender
Both Men & Women
Marital status
Unmarried men and women candidates
Educational Qualification:
The requirement is minimum 55% marks in LLB Degree (Three years professional after graduation or 5 years after 10+2 examination). Moreover, the candidate should be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a college or University recognized by Bar Council of India.
Selection Procedure:
- Shortlisting application
- Intelligence and Personality test by Service Selection Board (SSB).
- Merit List of selected candidates
NOTE: There will not be a written exam for shortlisting.
Training:
49 weeks at OTA, Chennai.

Eligible candidates are also required to apply online by registering them on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in However, no other mode is allowed for submission of application. SSB Interview:
Following shortlisting of applications the candidate will get a mail for centre allotment. After allotment of selection centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and also select their SSB dates on first come first served basis, up to a specified date.
