Indian Navy SSC IT Notification
Indian Navy SSC IT Notification (Executive Branch) January 2027 Course. Applications are invited from unmarried eligible men & women candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in Indian Navy. Special Naval Orientation Course commencing from Jan 2027 onwards at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates must fulfill conditions of nationality as laid down by the Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria :
Education Qualification : A candidate must have minimum 60% marks in English in class X or XII and one of the undermentioned educational qualification with minimum 60% overall qualifying marks, in either or a combination of the following
(a) M.Sc/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech
(b) MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology)
Age : Candidates born between 02 Jan 2002 & 01 July 2007 are eligible to apply. (Both dates inclusive).
Vacancies : Total number of vacancies for SSC (IT) Executive course is 15.
Who Can Apply :
(a) Candidates who have graduated/post-graduated with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA or are in the final year from a university incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament can apply.
(b) Obtained a degree in Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA/System from such foreign university/college/institution recognised by the Government of India for the purpose or Engineering Degree/equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities established under AIU, Act 1973, can apply.
Selection Procedure :
(a) Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.
(b) For candidates who have completed or in final year of BE/B Tech, marks obtained upto fifth semester will be considered for SSB shortlisting
(c) For candidates who have completed MCA/M.Sc/M.Tech, marks obtained in all semesters will be considered. For Final year students, marks obtained till pre final year will be considered.
(d) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their shortlisting for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).

Candidates are to register and fill application on Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in for SSC (IT) w.e.f 16 May 2026. To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance.
