Inspiring Journey Of Saee Sukale
Lt. Saee Sameer Sukale from Pune, Maharashtra, embodies courage, resilience, and unwavering determination. An international open-water swimmer, she is a Limca Book of Records holder and a world record holder, displaying extraordinary endurance and grit from a young age.
As an NCC cadet, she proudly marched on Rajpath during the Republic Day Parade in 2022, carrying the dreams of many young Indians. Today, she serves the nation with pride as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
During her training at the Officers Training Academy, she distinguished herself by winning 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals in demanding events such as cross-country, route march, march and shoot, and swimming. She also became the only woman cadet to earn both the prestigious Drill Badge and the Marksman recognition, a rare feat that reflects her discipline and exceptional skill.
She was also crowned Ms. OTA – Winter Term 2026.
Behind this remarkable journey stands the constant support of her parents who have a business always encouraged her with faith and strength, reminding her, “Keep fighting, we are always with you.” Alongside them, her younger sister has been one of her biggest pillars of strength. A selfless supporter who has always stood by her side, becoming a constant source of motivation and purpose for Saee throughout her journey.
Her story is a reminder that when courage is fueled by passion, supported by family, and strengthened by perseverance, even the toughest dreams can turn into proud realities.
