INS Kavaratti Anti Submarine Warfare Corvette Got Commissioned Today
INS Kavaratti, an Anti submarine Warfare Corvette is Commissioned into the Indian Navy on Otober 22, 2020. The Commissioning Ceremony was held at Visakhapatnam. It is last ship of Kamorta class Corvettes. Garden Reach shipbuilders and Engineers built this Ship at Kolkata.
The keel of Ship was laid on January 2012. The ship was launched to Sea trials in 2015. Finally after extensive trails, the ship is commissioned into the Navy. This stealth Corvette INS Kavaratti is capable of Anti submarine warfare, Patrolling and Search and rescue operations.
