Motivational pictures of OTA Gaya passing out parade pictures. The Silver Jubilee (25th) Passing Out Parade of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya was held on June 8, 2024. During the parade, 118 officer cadets crossed the Antim Pag, marking their commissioning as officers in the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles. Among them, 58 officer cadets from the Special Commissioned Officers Course – 52, including 15 from the Assam Rifles, and 60 from the Technical Entry Scheme – 43, were commissioned as officers.
The Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya is a premier Pre Commission Training institution of the country, training Officer Cadets for commission into various arms and services of the Indian Army. Pre Commission Training at OTA, Gaya is also being imparted to cadets of friendly foreign countries as per directions of Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army)/ Government of India. OTA, Gaya is the youngest Academy and training for the first batch of the Officer Cadets commenced on 18 July 2011.
