Indian Navy SSC Notification 2021 For B.e/B.Tech Graduates. Applications are invited from unmarried eligible men candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Indian Navy under Special Naval Orientation Course for course commencing Jan 22 at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. Candidates must fulfill conditions of nationality as laid down by the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria :

Education Qualification : (a) BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in any of the following streams :

(i) electrical (ii) electronics (iii) electrical & electronics (iv) electronics & communication (v) electronics & tele communication (vi) tele communication (vii) applied electronics and communication (aec) (viii) instrumentation (ix) electronics & instrumentation (x) applied electronics & instrumentation (xi) instrumentation & control (xii) power engineering (xiii) power electronics

Age : Candidates born between 02 Jan 1997 & 01 Jul 2002 are eligible to apply. (Both dates inclusive).

Vacancies : Total number of vacancies for under Special Naval Orientation course is 40.

Who Can Apply : (a) Candidates who have graduated/post-graduated with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA or are in the final year from a university incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament can apply.

(b) Obtained a degree in Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA/System from such foreign university/college/institution recognised by the Government of India for the purpose or Engineering Degree/equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities established under AIU, Act 1973, can apply.

Selection Procedure : (a) Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.

(c) Candidates having Naval ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps  will be provided relaxation of 5% in cut off marks for SSB shortlisting.

(d) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their shortlisting for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
