Army Adventure Wing AAW – All you need to know
Army Adventure Wing AAW is part of Indian Army under the Director general of Military training. The Army Adventure Wing is responsible for planning and Coordinating the Adventure Activities of Indian Army. The Army Adventure Wing conducts the Activities in all the three dimensions. The high risk adventure activities comes under the AAW. The Officers and Jawans of Indian Army get exposure to Adventure Activities through AAW.
Total of 25 training centers are present under the Army adventure Wing all around the India. There are around 17 types of Adventure activities conducted by AAW.

The Achievements of AAW are successfully summiting Mt Everest and Mt Kanchenjunga . The South pole expedition and Women’s Mt Everest summit is major success of AAW.
