CDS 2 2025 Merit List

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the CDS 2 2025 merit list, marking an important milestone for defence aspirants across the country. The results include candidates who successfully cleared both the written examination conducted in September 2025 and the subsequent Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews conducted by the Ministry of Defence.

According to the official release, a total of 302 candidates have qualified in order of merit for admission into prestigious training academies like the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, and the Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad. These candidates will join the respective courses scheduled for upcoming training batches.

The government has allocated 100 vacancies for IMA, 26 vacancies for INA, and 32 vacancies for AFA, including seats reserved for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders under special entry provisions. Some candidates appear in more than one merit list depending on their eligibility and preferences.

UPSC has informed that individual marks will be published only after the final results of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) course are declared. Candidates are also advised to keep their respective service headquarters informed in case of any change in address or contact details.

The declaration of the CDS (II) 2025 final result brings hundreds of aspirants one step closer to fulfilling their dream of becoming officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
