CDS 1 2018 EXPECTED CUT OFF/ ANALYSIS

 

COMBINED  DEFENCE  SERVICES  EXAM  is conducted twice a year. CDS 1 2018 EXPECTED CUT OFF is given below CDS 1 2018 was held on  4 th February 2018, in a set of three papers

PAPER 1 ENGLISH, English paper is always scoring and easy. It was perceived that many students weren’t able to attempt the paper fully and ran out of time. However, paper 1 was overall an easy & manageable paper. Idioms & phrases, antonym, synonym were piece of cake for many Each correct answer carries 0.83 marks, each wrong answer penalties with 0.27 negative marking furthermore student is expected to get at least 60+ Marks in the English paper in order to avoid the aggregate contingencies.

PAPER 2, GENERAL KNOWLEDGE is considered as the toughest paper in CDS examinations. This time too, it unveiled substantially tough paper. GK is not defined in the syllabus, thus it’s contents are dynamic and paper 2 included questions from every aspect. Many students were seen baffled answering GK UPSC however is lenient and keeps the individual cut off as low as  20 marks Each correct answer carries 0.83 marks, each wrong answer penalties with 0.27 negative marking

PAPER 3, ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS was an overall easy paper. Also questions on circles, geometry, cone, cylinder, triangle made it a lengthy paper. further Simple & direct questions were seen from quadratic equations, profit and loss, statistics. In any circumstances  minimum 20 % (i.e 20 marks are expected from mathematics) Each correct answer carries 1 marks, each wrong answer penalties with 0.33 negative marking   WHAT WILL BE THE EXPECTED CUT OFF FOR CDSE 1 2018?

*INDIVIDUAL CUT OFF FOR EVERY SUBJECT IS 20 MARKS.
