However, if you are someone planning to take the exam next year, you must be thorough with the changing exam pattern. Hence, today we share the complete list of AFCAT GK questions asked in the real exam.

What Are AFCAT GK Questions?

The AFCAT exam is conducted by EdCIL twice every year to shortlist candidates for the Air Force Selection Board. This is the primary way to become a commissioned officer in the Indian Air Force. Owing to the stakes, the syllabus for the exam has four components:

  • English
  • General awareness or GK
  • Numerical ability
  • Reasoning and military aptitude

As you can see, the syllabus comprises General Awareness. These are the AFCAT GK questions that we are speaking of.

Difference Between GS and GK

Now you might wonder how GS is different from GK. Most candidates use the terms interchangeably, however, there is a difference between the two.

GS stands for General Studies and it comprises subjects like History, Polity, Geography, Economics, and Science. Here, the subject knowledge is assessed among candidates.

GS vs AFCAT GK questions

GK, on the other hand, stands for General Knowledge. This comprises of all the subjects mentioned above as well as static awareness like dance forms, cultures, current affairs, et cetera. Clearly, the scope of AFCAT GK questions is wider than simple GS.
