Easiest Way To Know Your AFCAT 2 2026 Score

EdCIL conducted AFCAT 2 2026 on 8th August in two shifts for all aspirants. While each had mixed responses on the difficulty level they can now let go of the confusion. If you’ve given the exam too, here is how you can know your AFCAT score easily.

What is AFCAT?

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test, which is conducted to shortlist candidates for the AFSB interview. This examination happens in different EdCIL centres and is computer-based. Anyone who aims at joining the Indian Air Force can sit for the exam and avail entry to the elite force.

The exam happens twice each year, and the second cycle happened last Saturday in two shifts. Many candidates reported that the second shift was comparatively tougher than the first one. This has an immediate effect on your final marks, that is, once you know your AFCAT score it will be normalized.

How Can You Know Your AFCAT Score?

As per the official notification prior to the examination, EdCIL announced that it would share a detailed answer key for each candidate on 11th August starting at 1000 hours. This will comprise the following things:

  • All 100 questions with correct answers for each
  • Candidate’s responses for each question
  • Facility to raise objections, if any

If you also wish to know your AFCAT score, you can follow the given steps:

  • Login to your profile on afcat.edcil.co.in using valid credentials and the displayed captcha code.
  • Now, to the left-hand side you will see a list of options as follows:
Know your AFCAT score from the online portal
  • Choose the second option “Candidate Response” and you will see a page that reads, “To download your question paper for Assessment AFCAT 02 8th Aug 2026 of subject AFCAT 02 2026. Click here to generate it”. You have to click on the word “here”.
  • Now, you’ll be able to see your response sheet. You can click on “Print” to download the response sheet to know your AFCAT score or raise objections, if any.

This way you can calculate your total number of correct and incorrect responses. Here is an example,

Let’s say you attempted 50 questions out of 100 in the exam hall, and 40 are correct, while 10 are incorrect. So, you will get 3 marks for each correct response (120 marks) but -1 mark for each incorrect response (-10). Your final score, in this case, is 110 marks out of 300.

Is My AFCAT Score Final?

No. Please know that these aren’t the final marks, which will vary based on normalization, and objections raised by other candidates. So, to know your AFCAT score in reality, you must wait for the results of the written exam. Till then, you can see if you have any objections in the response sheet and raise the issue before 13th August, 2026. All the best for your AFSB!
