The Officers Training Academy or OTA Chennai is located at Saint Thomas Mount in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is at a distance of approximately 3 km from the Chennai International Airport and 17 km from the Chennai Central Railway Station. It came up in 1963 to give training to young officer cadets applying for short service commission in the Indian Army.
