Republic Day Parade Rehearsal Pictures
Ahead of Republic Day 2022, a full dress parade rehearsal was held at Rajpath in New Delhi on Sunday. The rehearsal commenced from Vijay Chowk on the route towards Red Fort for the parade scheduled on January 26. India will celebrate its 73rd republic day on 26 January 2022. It is a day to remember when India’s constitution came into force on 26 January 1950.
Republic Day celebrations began from January 23 this year, instead of January 24 to include the birth anniversary of late freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
