NDA 2 2021 expected cutoff and exam analysis. The NDA 2 2021 Exam was conducted by UPSC on 14th November 2021 for selecting candidates for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy. For the first time in the history women candidates appeared for the NDA exam. Candidates qualifying the written test will be shortlisted for SSB Interview. Final selection of candidates will be done based on the candidate’s performance in written exam and SSB Interview. The Joining letter will be issued to the candidates according to available vacancies in the merit. 

The exam consists of 2 papers: Paper I: Mathematics from 10:00 to 12:30 and Paper-II: General Ability Test from 14:00 to 16:30. The Mathematics paper consists of 120 Questions that are of 2.5 marks each, while the General Ability Test consists of 150 Questions that are of 4 marks each.

Mathematics papers was moderate. Question in Maths section were asked from topics such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Vectors, Coordinate geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus etc. An average candidate must have attempted questions from Algebra, Co-ordinate geometry, and Statistics first. Attempting questions from these three subsections would not only easily make them clear the sectional cut-off of 25% but also secure them a comfortable score.

The NDA 2 2021 General Ability Test was conducted from 14:00 to 16:30. This paper has a total of 150 Questions from 600 marks. Good amount of questions appeared from Physics, Chemistry and Biology which were direct question.

Vocab-based questions, Idioms & Phrases, and the Ordering of words in Sentence questions were asked in the exam. Grammar questions (spot the error) were a little difficult, might have affected the accuracy for many candidates.

Questions from History, Geography, and Polity might have troubled many, particularly those who are from science background. The level of GAT section was moderate to difficult. An attempt of 90-100 questions with 90% accuracy would be considered a good performance.
