Technical Entries Indian Army

List of all Technical entries for graduates in Indian Army to become an officer. These technical entries allow B.e/B.Tech graduates to appear before Service Selection Board interview without any exam.

Let us have a look at the various technical entries:

1. Technical Graduate Course Entry (TGC):

Age: 20 to 27 years

Marital status: Only male unmarried candidates

Educational qualification:  B.E./ B.Tech in notified streams of Engineering

Training: 1year at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun  

2. SSC (Technical) Men:

Age: 20 to 27 years

Marital status: Only male unmarried candidates

Educational qualification:  Engineering Degree in notified stream

Notification: It is usually notified in the month of June to July & December to January. Visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to apply

Training: 49 weeks at Officers Training Academy, Chennai

3. SSC (Technical) Women:

Age: 20 to 27 years

Marital status: Only unmarried women candidates

Educational qualification:  Engineering Degree in notified stream

Notification: It is usually notified in the month of June to July & December to January. Visit the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to apply

Training: 49 weeks at Officers Training Academy, Chennai

It has to be noted that entries such as AEC Entry and UES Entry are disbanded by the Indian Army.
