21st JAG ENTRY SCHEME NOTIFICATION
Indian Army has issued notification for admission to the Army for the 21st Judge Advocate General (JAG) course commencing from October 2018. The approximate number of vacancies to be filled on the results of this examination will be as under: Men: 07 Women: 07
Eligibility Criteria: Age – 21 – 27 years as on 01 July 2018 (Born not earlier than 02 July 1991 and not later than 01 July 1997. Both dates inclusive) Sex – Both Men & Women Marital status – Unmarried men and women candidates
Educational Qualification: In particular, minimum 55% marks in LLB Degree (Three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination). Moreover, the candidate should be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a college/University recognized by Bar Council of India.

- Intelligence and Personality test by Service Selection Board (SSB).
- Merit List of selected candidates
How to apply: Eligible candidates are also required to apply online by registering them on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in However, no other mode is allowed for submission of application. Click on officers entry ‘Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ Not to mention follow onscreen instructions for registration and click on ‘Apply Online’ to process the application.
Date of SSB Interview: After shortlisting of applications the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidates via their email. However, after allotment of selection centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and also select their SSB dates on first come first served basis, up to a specified date.
